No. Because these are 1-piece direct replacement rotors, installation uses the same standard socket set, torque wrench, and jack stands you already own for basic brake jobs. You won’t need a press or any proprietary tools.

For an experienced DIYer, expect about 45 to 90 minutes per axle. The process is straightforward: remove the wheel, unbolt the caliper bracket, slide off the old rotor, and slide on the new one. Re-torque everything to your vehicle’s factory spec.

StopTech rotors are engineered to work with a wide range of OE and aftermarket pads, including our own Street Performance line. You can reuse your current pads if they have sufficient material, or pair them with a performance compound for better bite.
